1. Everyone in the class will be paired with a partner (this is the friend that you studied abroad with and also the person who will be planning a celebration with you for your families).
2. You and your partner will choose what country you would like to study. You have the choice of either Mexico or Spain. Please let me know what country you chose before starting your research.
3. Use the links below to find the information that you need to plan you celebration and complete your write-up. You and your partner may chose to look at all of the links together or you can choose the each research two sections individually and then teach each other what you learned.
4. Create your plan for the AUTHENTIC family party and make a poster to show what your plan includes. YOU MUST DO THIS PART WITH YOUR PARTNER. You will also write a reflection on what you learned about the holiday and how it compares to Christmas in the United States. YOU WILL DO THIS PART INDIVIDUALLY.
5. With your partner, present your poster and ideas to the class. Your presentation should include some of your ideas from the write-ups as well. Prepare to present for 10 minutes.
